2023 In Review

As the podcast rounds out the calendar year, we’re deep into our sixth year of being The World’s Most Genuine Fly Fishing Podcast.

2023 was packed full of fun adventures and a healthy dose of what makes us unique in the fly fishing podcast space; our focus on the listener.

From hosting both the IF4 & F3T film events at Marine Discovery center to hosting the 5th Annual Dinghy Derby and the Thingy Before The Dinghy, we continued to cultivate and grow the local fly fishing community here along the space coast.

Our listeners, friends and sponsors contributed mightily and for a second year running, we saw over $10K raised in donations to support The Marine Discovery Center.

Over the past five years our events have combined to raise over $80K for MDC with the funds earmarked for conservation efforts in the Mosquito Lagoon & Indian River Lagoon.

In addition to the podcast and events we’ve published in 2023, we took the Tailer Trash show on the road, hosting a fly tying event and our infamous fly casting event; The Tailer Park Casting Championships in East Tennessee at The Fly Box in Bristol Tennessee.

In fact we spent a good bit of time up in the hollers of the Holston Valley filming a fly fishing film with the hopes of it being selected for one of the film tours.
